CSO (Civil Society Organization) week

CSO WEEK (@CSOWeek) | nitter

Ndoto in Action participated in the NGO exhibition held in Arusha towards the dubbed Civil Society Organization (CSO) week. Also, we attended the main event in Dodoma, where Madam President graced the event as the guest of honor. The exhibition event in Arusha had as a guest of honor the Regional Commissioner.

NIA represented by the Program Development Officer, Community Development Officer, and volunteers supported the exhibition while learning and developing personally and professionally.

Our presence allowed us to present different projects that we are implementing in the rural communities in Arusha. Including the two most current handwashing stations through the School Water Sanitation and Hygiene (SWASH) project and a volunteer programme that aims to give young people personal and professional development.

We had a great experience at the Arusha exhibition, learning from other local NGOs who contribute to education space, met potential partners at the regional level, and placed a mark on NIA’s existence in the Arusha region.

At the main event in Dodoma, the government officers from different institutions highlighted the contribution of NGOs to the country’s development. They gave workshops to non-government organizations about various topics such as taxes and exemptions. Our participation in this event let us meet new potential partners to move forward the education plan both in the region and at the National level. We are thrilled to have given our best and participated in this event for the first time. Furthermore, we are more committed to supporting children and youth to make their dreams come true.
